The Huguenot Tower offers a great view of Bad Karlshafen and the confluence of the Diemel and Weser. The baroque planned city can be well surveyed from here. A comparison with the model in the town hall is interesting!

Beautiful vantage point with a view of Bad Karlshafen and the Weser. The way down to Bad Karlshafen is a bit more demanding with steps that you can bypass or, if you have fun, go down. Attention, there are often hikers on the way.

The Huguenot Tower stands to the west above the town center of Bad Karlshafen, which lies between Solling in the north and Reinhardswald in the south-southeast, and the confluence (95.6 m above sea level)[1] of the Diemel and the Weser. It is located at an altitude of about 165 to 170 m[2] between the Hessian Cliffs, a group of rocky cliffs that line up on the steep and wooded north-east slope of the Kaiserstein elevation (205 m)[1].
