Mescherin is located directly on the Westoder, which marks the border with Poland in the east of the village. In addition to the beautiful field stone church that you are standing in front of, the Rosow Memorial Church and the observation tower with the curved roof are worth a visit.

Vandring

The church Mescherin is basically a rectangular stone building from the 13th century. The church was built around 1500 as a plastered stone construction, with a west tower in the width of the ship. The square boarded tower structure from 1734, is provided with a baroque helmet and an open pierced lantern. In the tower is an old bronze bell, cast 1692 in Szczecin. After population growth, the ship was extended to the east from 1888-1889 and the tower with the Baroque helmet was renovated.
