    A summit on the gentler end of the Aonach Eagach ridge between the Devil's Staircase and A'Chailleach, Stob Mhic Mhartuin is a very worthwhile detour for those walking the West Highland Way.

    Expect astonishing views of the Buachailles Etive Beag and Etive Mòr, as well as the Bidean, while it's common to spot deer roaming the neighbouring ridges. To the north, you can spy the eastern Munros of the Mamores range too. It's a wonderful wild camping spot.
