Vandring
This nature reserve was created during the last port renovation.
The originally vegetation-free island is a breeding and resting place for numerous bird species. In addition, the pond amphibian spawning area is of national importance and offers habitat for various amphibian species.
In winter, woolly pigs live here occasionally, rummaging through the ground when looking for food and thus holding back the vegetation. In summer, highland cattle and water buffalos graze on the island.

Due to the low water level, the island would be accessible with dry feet at the moment!
