The Rienz - in Italian Rienza) - is a river in South Tyrol that rises at the foot of the Drei Zinnen in the municipality of Toblach at an altitude of 2180 m. First of all, it crosses areas of the Drei Zinnen nature park and the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park in its upper course through the Höhlenstein valley. At Toblacher Feld, it turns into the Pustertal, which it then flows through in a westerly direction, to flow into the Eisack after 80.9 km at an altitude of 550 m near Brixen.
