The path is only accessible at low tide. So you should pay close attention to the tides! If you get stranded on the island and you can't get back to town because of the high tide, you have to stay there for 9 hours. 😵💫😵💫🫣

A nice causeway to the small neighboring island which is passable for three hours at low tide. If you don't return after that, you either have to wait 9 hours or call a water taxi for $150.
