Eigentlich war heute mit guten Freunden eine Rhein-Tour ab Nijmegen geplant, doch wegen des extremen Niedrigwassers standen dort alle Fähren still. Unsere spontane Ausweichroute an der IJssel war jedoch ein Glücksgriff, auch wenn das Wetter nicht ganz mitgespielt hat:☁️🌦️

... Islak kolum ve yagmur damlalari Garmin'in dokunmatik ekraninda tekrar tekrar 'hayalet girdiler' tetikleyerek kaydi durdurdu (bir dahaki sefere yagmurda ve uzun kollarda dokunmatik ekran kilitlenecek!😁😇😊).

Aslında Nijmegen çevresinde bisiklete binmeyi planlamıştık ama su seviyesinin düşük olması nedeniyle feribotlar çalışmıyordu. @Kathehub'dan bir tur aldık. Sıcak hava dalgasından sonra hava ıslak/serin ama hoştu. Zupthen ve Deventer gerçekten güzel eski Hansa şehirleri.

Üç yıl önce Belçika'nın Hoge Kempen Milli Parkı'nın bir bölümünü geçtikten sonra. Bugün bilinen yeşil bir bölümü tekrar deneyimlemek için sabırsızlanıyordum. Benim için yeni olan bölümler vardı, örneğin As tren istasyonu.
Sıcaklık nedeniyle 🥵 bunu sportif bir şekilde bitirmek istedim.

Wanderung durch das Haaksbergerveen,mit Bohlenweg
Nach langer Abwesenheit konnte ich meinen Freund zur einem kleinen Spaziergang erwärmen.
Zu Beginn mit Kaiserwetter ging es in das bekannteste Feuchtgebiet der Niederlande.
Wildgänse waren nur zu hören.
Die Wege sind schon mega gut zu gehen.

@Wetho, a huge thank you for the invitation to the hike in the Haaksbergerveen! The moorland was impressive even at this time of year, although the sun set later. But it wasn't just nature that was wonderful; our conversation was truly delightful too.

After yesterday's chaotic start (technical glitch at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences), we explored the Danube yesterday.
This morning, the focus was more on Pest and the parks.
With the best weather and plenty of shade, I can only say: Budapest is always worth a visit.

Medusa, from Greek mythology, is a monster with wings and snake hair, and her chest is also armed with snake coils.
The sight of her turned everyone to stone, except us. 😀

Putten is a village and municipality in the province of Gelderland. East of the village lie the beautiful forests and heathland of the Veluwe.

We actually wanted to do a longer hike between Benrath Palace and Zons, but the weather and the fatigue after yesterday's spa day at Vabali in Düsseldorf made us weak.
So, all that was left was a short hike in the most beautiful village near Dormagen.

From the Old Town to Flehe.
