This is the most remote section of the route, the 100km of Nothing. Be prepared for there to be very few options for resupply.

Leaving Edinburgh the route gets into some great gravel after about 14 km at the Pentland hills.
Thus begins a 10km gradual climb up and over West kip, before descending. Drovers roads to Peebles.
