We've now ridden about 85 km into the tour. There were a few nice sections, but there were often parts on country roads (heavy traffic) and paths with thick cobblestones. To be honest, I would re-plan again.

We explore the hinterland extensively before heading south along the coast the next day. The second circular hike from Rodalquilar takes us past extinct volcanoes, through olive groves and deep gorges.
We hike through the valley of the mines once again, but then turn left and climb up a wonderful path
