This tour is a bit more demanding and well suited for a trekking or mountain bike. The first part takes us along the A73. Then through a forest to Wolfsberg. (Attention: there is unfortunately a short stretch there where you may have to push the bike). Then it goes quite close to three wind turbines

The way there and back are identical on this tour. The route can be driven very relaxed, especially in the Itz area. There is only a busy road between Neustadt and Sonneberg, which we avoided whenever possible.
Tip: the way back is very easy to drive over the Froschgrundsee, but there are still a few

Today we start our bike tour at the train station in Beiersdorf. Through the Glender meadows we come to Dörfles-Esbach via Bertelsdorf. Passing the Esbacher See we reach Rosenau Castle.
