So on the Hessian side, the route is excellently signposted. In Bavaria, however, this leaves a lot to be desired! Either we were too stupid to find the markings, or they are simply missing! If this is still improved, but that's a nice tour.

Actually, the third stage goes until after Einruhr. That was too far for me for the first day. The tour is splendid to share. In Höfen there are many places to stay and especially meter high hedges worth seeing, even have their own small trail.

Super Tour to "run in" on the climb.
This stage can also be easily started as a round trip. From Hemfurth continue to Sperrmauer (about 30 minutes) and then by boat back to the wharf Waldeck and then walk to the mountain railway. (about 800m)
