The name "Ems Cycle Route" is definitely misleading, as the current route (from Emden to Rheine) largely doesn't skirt the Ems. The name "Emsland Cycle Route" would be more appropriate. I'm largely disappointed and definitely can't recommend this route.

Today, both the bike path and the landscape became considerably more interesting. Meppen is definitely worth a visit, but we didn't like the Emsland Moor Museum so much. We'll explore Lingen towards the evening.

This tour is definitely not recommended. The scenery is completely uninteresting, there are endless construction sites along the dikes, and a few unpleasant surprises along the way. It can only get better.

Today we initially decided to take the train from Emsdetten to Münster. Münster is not part of the Ems Cycle Path, much like the Ems itself 😂😂😂🙈. Following in the footsteps of Wilsberg, Börne, and Thiel. From Münster, we then continued along the main road to Warendorf as usual. Along the way, we
