It's been a tradition in our family since childhood to drive up to the Odenwald forest whenever someone has a persistent respiratory illness.

It was supposed to be a back-friendly and not too strenuous tour, and so our beautiful Weinheim loop was a good choice for the third time in a short period of time, especially since my daughter wasn't familiar with the route at all.

I had a day of hiking together with a restaurant visit left as a gift, and today was a good opportunity to redeem it.
