Our first rainy day at Lake Achensee.
It poured like cats and dogs.
In the morning we started with a visit to the silver mine in Schwaz. Of course there is no record of this. But the visit is worth it. The train ride through the tunnel alone is impressive.

Today we wanted to go on a tour without a car because in Pertisau the "bear is tap-dancing". The finish line of the Karwendel March is right in front of our hotel. And today 2700 runners are at the start.

The start and finish of our tour was the hiking car park below the Slime Saddle in Gerntal.
The gravel path spirals steeply upwards in serpentines over a length of 3 km. At first it was cloudy and luckily not that warm. Later the clouds tore up and it got really hot.

Because rain was announced for the afternoon, we shortened today's tour a bit and first took the cable car to the Zwölferhorn. We then climbed up to the Ochsenkopf via the Weißenbachsattel and then walked to the summit cross of the Stanser Joch.

Today we walked from Pertisau to the Bärenkopf via the tunnel path to Bärenbadalm and further to the summit. From above you can see the Achensee in its entire length.
For the way into the valley we chose the route over the Weißenbachsattel.
