Caution: Many paths at Lorenzstein are no longer visible. The many fallen spruce trees make it extremely difficult. Therefore, only use the main trails. Komoot and Outdooractive are no longer up-to-date here.

Since the traditional route around Lake Stechlin is currently not possible due to the lack of a bridge at the nuclear power plant, we also walked around Lake Nehmitz.
Unfortunately, the signage in Neuglobsow was very poor, so we only noticed the closure shortly before reaching the actual bridge.

Even though we only hiked part of the trail, the Geologists' Trail is truly spectacular and highly recommended. After and during rain, however, surefootedness, sturdy shoes and a head for heights are extremely important. Because it started to rain, we stopped the hike at km 3 to be on the safe side.

A little tip for the official Woblitz Loop.
From Lychen, the old railway bridge is accessible, and you can walk along the old railway line. There are some beautiful trails along the way, so you don't have to walk along the main road from Lychen to Fürstenberg. Later, you'll return to the official route
