This leisurely hike was our alternative program today, as it was raining. The round runs mostly through high forest with many ferns between the trees. Unfortunately, storms struck here too, but the fallen trees were all stacked next to the path (wonderful smell of fresh wood 😊). The numerous birdsong

This was our Sunday hike today. Above Ockstadt there are the cherry tree meadows (also always nice in spring when the cherry blossoms) and a former, renatured military area. Where American tanks used to go, today you can watch birds. The view of Ockstadt, Friedberg, Bad Nauheim and the Wetterau is spectacular
