The Gregnitz Valley and Moor between Nagel and Ebnath are natural and wildly romantic. Wonderfully quiet and without large numbers of visitors, with easily accessible paths and very good signposting.
Unfortunately the pictures are very confused again, why ???????

Our tour took us to the 33 m high Waldenfelswarte on the Kohlberg above Arzberg. In the vernacular, the Kohlberg is also called Sugar Loaf.
From the tower you have a fantastic view of the Upper Palatinate hill country and as far as the Czech Republic.

A nice tour for the most part along the forest and Fichtelnaab. Original and very calm. Fichtel- and Waldnaab then merge at Windischeschenbach.
In the floodplains of the Fichtelnaab is the Zoiglwirtschaft and Ferienhof Schweinmühle with a wonderful beer garden where you can take a break after about half

The Mauthaus drinking water reservoir, also known as the Ködeltalsperre, is one of the largest drinking water reservoirs in Bavaria. Construction time 1968 to 1972. 1975 it was put into operation and was the first bay. Drinking water dam and has a length of approx. 4.4 km.

Nice path along the Püttlach, well frequented today but not overcrowded.
However, twice we went astray on the other side of the Püttlach because the path suddenly came to an end. So turn back.

Today's tour takes us on the Geo-Erlebnisweg / Zinnweg near Weißenstadt, inspired by bbhexe. Thanks for the suggestion.
It is an easy circular route on easily accessible forest and forest roads. With numerous information boards on historical tin mining.
A quiet and very relaxed round that we can only recommend.
