From Leun train station, it was a good stretch uphill 😁. I hadn't quite left Leun yet, but it was already 10 floors 🤔😂. It was always uphill until I reached Biel Castle. Biel Castle 🤔? No way through, unfortunately I had to skip it.

What do you do when the train lets you down again 🤔? You look around at home 👍😁.
There is a nature trail at Leitz Park in Wetzlar. It's still a bit overgrown at the moment, but it's worth a visit 👍.
Lots of interesting information along the way, spring feelings among the cows 😂 and a good alternation

Short walk to the Lahnuferfest in Gießen.

Strange tour today. For some reason the route was recorded, but not the time 🤔. No idea why 😂.

The title says it all, it didn't go as planned in Dutenhofen 😂.
Planned three, found one. Not a good result. But no matter, I was outside 👍.

A bit of culture again today 🛐. Off to Ingelheim, I've decided to visit the Imperial Palace 😁.

After my little mishap yesterday, today we went to Frankfurt 😁. First to the zoo and then, after a short stop at 'Extrablatt', to the Palmengarten. The weather was great 👍 ☀️. There was a theme day at the zoo today, but it didn't blow me away 😅. It was my first time at the Palmengarten. I really liked

After yesterday's (almost) constant rain, I had to go out today 😅. To Gießen to the Botanical Garden and then a bit of geocaching. That was the plan.
It went well until the Botanical Garden 👍, but on the way to the train station...
It ended at the dinosaur.

Actually, we were supposed to go to Frankfurt today. But since the train company had decided not to run any trains from our station to Frankfurt from midday until the evening, all that was left was a leisurely stroll through Wetzlar 😅.
It wasn't bad either, with frequent 'breaks' for ice cream and coffee 👍

Today we went to a little gem almost on our doorstep 😁.
By train to Herborn, a bit by bus and then to the zoo near Uckersdorf.
This zoo, which grew out of the former bird park, is highly recommended 👍 ❤️.
Very beautifully laid out, it has a good mix of native and other animals. With good explanations

Today we went to Frankfurt to visit the zoo and then took a walk back to the train station.
At the zoo I was able to see the seals and penguins being fed. It was very interesting 👍

On the last weekend of the holiday we were supposed to go to the Botanical Garden in Giessen today 👍. At least that was the plan. The weather was decent. There was a cold wind, but it didn't rain 😂. We crossed the Lahn Bridge at Neustädter Platz and past the church square to the Botanical Garden. But

After Bad Nauheim and Friedberg, a quick detour to Bad Vilbel. I always wanted to know where my favorite radio station is at home 👍.
Also... As you can see in the second picture, I found a reference to a very special address 😅. I couldn't resist 😂 😂 😂.
