We arrived by train at the Bad Schandau stop. We set off in foggy weather to Papsstein. At just the right moment the fog cleared and we were able to take some lovely photos. We then continued to the beautiful viewpoint and then to Königstein train station.

We set off from Bad Schandau train station, with the sun always at our backs. I walked along all sorts of hidden paths as I felt fit. I was happy when the Lilienstein finally appeared in front of me. Tour for dinner to Radeberg Forsthaus. From Weixdorf, final stop of line 7 via Hermsdorf Castle and then always along the Grosse Röder and of course through the beautiful Seifersdorf Valley.

Round trip from Radebeul-Ost to Moritzburg with a visit to Karl May's grave. Since I recently read The Treasure of Silver Lake, I thought I'd walk along the Karl May path. Reading is more comfortable and not as strenuous.

From Königstein train station to the fortress and back. The hike was beautiful early in the morning with the morning mist, but unfortunately the sun won out over the mist and a headache started to develop, forcing me to decide to cut the planned tour short.

Organized autumn hike by the MOPO. You could choose between 3 routes, 12, 18 and 24 km, I chose the 18 km. It was more of a summer hike for me, much too warm. But everything was well organized, paths well signposted and several refreshment stations. At the end I got a gold medal. (I think everyone got
