I finished the mammoth march with great joy in 10 hours 52 minutes – Komoot probably deducted the time while I was getting up and getting food. It was an overwhelming feeling that really took hold of me.
Maybe it was also because I was almost at the end of my strength.

We didn't get off as early as we wanted because we treated ourselves to a good breakfast. Today was a more lonely stage, but we met a lot of people walking back to Santiago from Finisterre or Muxía.
It was supposed to be only 21 degrees, but it felt much warmer, especially up on the hills, with no trees

Now we are making our way to the "end of the world" - Finisterre. In pre-Christian times, the westernmost cape was mistakenly considered the westernmost point of mainland Europe and thus the end of the world, which is also what the name indicates.

Yesterday morning it was still cool, but later it got really hot. So we were glad that today's stage went through forest a lot, where it is known to be much cooler.
It is noticeable that a lot of churches are closed, which was very different on the Camiño Frances. We like to look at these small old churches

We only had a short stage today. So we took it easy. The weather was beautiful, cool but sunny. That becomes even more important when you've had bad weather for a long time ☺️
The stage wasn't particularly spectacular, but we cracked the 50 km mark! And we saw some really nice murals.

Today we shortened the tour to anticipate the rain and wind warning forecast for 1:00 p.m. This worked out, so we ended up completing our hikes here without any precipitation.
Unfortunately, the planned highlights of the tour were a flop because the stream was currently empty and the tower was "temporarily" closed ☹️.
