Hard going over the mountains. Plenty of rocky sections. Some hike a bike. I took a few wrong turns but got to Llyn Y Fan Fach in the end.
Chose to ride road back. Lovely downhill from top of Llyn y Fan Fach to the road.

Starting at Afan Lodge allows time to warm the legs and heart before the legendary’Whites’ Climb.
After Whites, a small blast down ‘Windy Point’ and then across to ‘Y Wall’ where a small climb gives access to ‘Graveyard’ and then ‘Zig Zags’.
After that it’s back to the Lodge for tea and cake 🥰

Taking in the Roman road to Brecon Gsp and then heading up to the 'diving board' at the top of Fan Y Big. On a good day you can see the huge amphitheatre that curves up towards Pen Y Fan.
Follow the ridgeline and eventually have a fantastic decent to the reservoir near Talybont.
Tram road back up and
