Lienz in Osttirol
Heute kurze Stippvisite in Lienz, 7.größte Stadt Osttirols mit 12.000 Einwohnern (2023). Burg Bruck schön und von Hotel Café Gribelhof schöne Aussicht auf Lienz. Es war Feiertag – somit leider keine Geschäfte geöffnet. Aber die Altstadt ist ganz schön. Wir werden sicher nochmal zum Stadtbummel hinfahren. Von Matrei ca. 20…

Vom „Zedlacher Paradies“ (1450m) zur Wodenalm (1850 m)
Von Matrei fahren wir Richtung Zedlach. Am Parkplatz Zedlacher Paradies (1450 m) starten wir eine Wanderung zur Wodenalm (rd. 1825 m).

Vom Matreier Tauernhaus zum Venedigerhaus Innergschlöss
Vom Matreier Tauernhaus auf dem Hinweg ins Tal durch den Wald (links über Gschlößbachbrücke) zum Innergschlöß-Talende und zur Einkehr. Ein wunderbarer Weg, zum Teil mit "Stiegen" und etwas steiler. Aber sehr schön - gerade bei Wärme kühl im Wald. Plötzlich öffnet sicher der Weg und wir haben eine wunderbare Aussicht…

St.Jakob: Von Mooseralm zum Leppleskofel
Leicht gemachte Tour: Mit. 🚠 auf 2035 m u. dann Sessellift 🙈 auf 2430 und von dort gemütlich auf 2670 m gewandert (zum Kreuz dann nochmal 210 m ...).

Matrei - St. Nikolaikirche- Bichl (Rundweg) - leicht
Bei schönem Wetter (!) im Sommer sehr schöne kleine Tour mit Abwechslung, wenn man Panoramablick auf umliegende Berge und auf Matrei schätzt. Am Wegesrand viele Schmetterlinge und direkt an der kleinen Kirche süßer Bauerngarten mit kleinen netten Figuren - für kleinere Kinder vielleicht auch eine kleine Abwechslung 🙂 ?

Rundweg Europa-Panorama Weg (von Goldried-Bergstation)
Wunderschöne Aussicht auf 60 Berggipfel bei nur rd. 350 m Anstieg von Goldried-Bergstation. Diese Tour ist ein MUSS für alle, die ein Rund-um-Bergpanorama lieben!

Hängebrücke Iselschlucht – Iselrundweg Ausgangspunkt Welzach
Kleine Einstiegsrunde für Flachland-Tiroler am 1. Tag nach der Anreise und für Kinder ab ca. 8 geeignet). Wir haben uns den Weg über die Fahrstrasse von Virgen aus gespart und haben die Runde gleich ab der Hängebrücke (dort offizieller Parkplatz) durch Wiesen und Wald genossen.

With blue skies and temperatures around 0 degrees with traces of fog, a little ground frost in the shade and rays of sunlight falling across the landscape, you get great color combinations and moods.
The combination of sandstone caves and castle and the mill at the end is a great trio - equally exciting for dogs and humans ;-)

1.5 hours into the valley on a wide, slightly to sometimes steeply uphill alpine path with refreshment stops at 3 alpine pastures. You are not alone.... Past the marmot (!), cows and horses and interesting, nicely designed information signs on people, animals and the history of this "ice valley"! You

Beautiful vantage points, ATTENTION: From the "Finailhof" "round trip": then above the farm = different from our map tour (!) take the road and down to the southern tip of the lake. WE are (unfortunately...?!) down and back a bit, so to speak 🙈 in the direction of Vernagt and then on the lake circuit

Start parking lot "Enzianhütte" (end Martelltal - already at 2000 m altitude🤗). Big P - very busy! From there a beautiful circular route, entertaining through adventure/viewpoints e.g. suspension bridge, waterfall, mountain view, nature at the pond).

Uphill to the castle! Great round - don't forget sticks, because the path is often rocky or steep - but it is ultimately easy to manage and again a varied path: From the center of Schlanders climb to the "Sonnenpromenade", right along the Schlandersbach and up...! The way back is not so easy to find
