There are many descriptions of the Kahltal-Spessart cycle path, e.g. at radlland-bayern.de/routen/kahltal-spessart-radweg - and they all start in Kahl.
We chose Lohr as our starting point and therefore the opposite direction. We believe that this direction is more pleasant to cycle in terms of the elevation
