I would recommend walking it anti-clockwise. The ascent and descent at the end were very exhausting and took a long time. If my legs hadn't been so tired, it probably wouldn't have been as long.

Today the third stage took us from Usseln to Willingen, mainly on wooded paths and trails. The heights offered some spectacular views and the heath was in full bloom - beautiful! The last 5 to 6 km to Willingen were unfortunately rather monotonous, and because of the approaching thunderstorm we skipped

The second stage takes us from Eimelrod to Usseln. The route deviates significantly from my original tour plan. I had downloaded and imported the gpx file - the actual route is about 1 km further, but whatever.

In return, a total of 3 Kneipp pools provided refreshment in the blazing sun and great heat
