Hike on Monte Rufeno with a detour to the summit to the observatory.

a beautiful circular route from Pitigliano through the Etruscan hollow paths with a detour to Sovana. The trails are well signposted and mostly in good condition. Nevertheless, good footwear is required.

Above Pau, the start of the hike is easy to reach on a tarred road, there are always parking possibilities.

I would definitely keep the direction of the tour. So you always have an incline again and again. On the other hand, you have to manage the vertical meters in one go.
