A lovely hike from Lienen to Eurocamp Holperdorp. We had lunch there at the Holperstübchen restaurant. Great fries and a lovely beer garden. The return trip went via Malepartus. Also very scenic, but usually crowded on Sundays.

Beautiful hike from the Café Alte Schleuse in Hanekenfähr to Gut Herzford. The section along the Vechte Canal was very beautiful. After that, it was a relatively long walk straight ahead until the turnoff to Gut Herzford. Then the path became more varied again. The way back ran parallel to the Ems, although

It was only seven kilometers, but it was a lot of walking. A really beautiful hiking trail with the Wolfsschlucht as its highlight. Very spectacular with steep steps and a climb to Paulsplatz with a wonderful view. After refreshing ourselves with delicious ice cream, we took the bus from Berdorf back to Echternach.

Nice hike to start our week in Luxembourg. The climb up from the lake is relatively steep and you should wear sturdy shoes, especially when it's wet.

I actually wanted to go back to Riezlern from the Köpfle. However, due to a road closure, I had to climb up to the Kanzelwandbahn cable car.
