With this hike I have connected the two Nittel orchid areas «Am Felsenweg» and «Langheck» to create a beautiful circular walk.
The flowering beauties can be admired on a stretch of about 6 km between May and June.
At the moment the ram's-tail orchid and the bumblebee orchid are in full bloom.

Today the hike went to the unique Perfeist nature reserve.
This beautiful orchid paradise and butterfly paradise is located on the plateau of the Löschemer Berg near Wasserliesch and can be explored on a small but lovely circular hike.

From Larochette, I took bus 232 to Haller and from there I joined the local hiking trails W1 and W4 and later B7 as an access route to MT Trail Route

Continuation of the MT trail exploration, this time starting in Beaufort.
Two sections of Route 3 were on the agenda. Firstly, the section from the Chateau to the junction of the B7 on the CR356 and secondly, the fantastically beautiful passage along the Haller and Haupechbaach.

I took advantage of my free Friday afternoon and went on a lovely hike from Kanzem to Saarburg.
The weather was good, and from Biebelhausen to the end of the hike the sun even came out.

On the way home from work I stopped by the wild orchids.
The brave orchids and purple orchids are already showing their beautiful flowers, the goat's-banded tongues need another 2 to 3 weeks until they are in full bloom.

Sunday's circular hike was intended as a transition from MT Route 2 to MT Route 3 and consists of the most beautiful sections of the local hiking trails C1 to C6 and the AP Consdorf.

On Saturday, the "final stages" of the AP Scheidgen, the MT-Route 2 and the Extratour C were on the program as a combined route hike.

Continuation of the tour from last Sunday.
For today's hike, I combined parts of the two Auto-Pédestre circular trails (AP) « Echternach Lac » and « Scheidgen » with the MT trail section « Echternach-Scheidgen ».
The result is a wonderful route hike that has some highlights to offer.
