Waterfalls, heavy rain at midday, streams overflowing their banks, mud, lots of rolling, hardly any hikers around, rocks, and climbing torture. It's pouring.

We arrived safely in Glasgow via Amsterdam Schiphol. The station center was packed with travelers. We took the bus to Milngavie. A crazy passenger. We got the wrong hotel. Day 1 began with light rain. Lots of hikers, beautiful scenery, and then a lot of rain towards the end. We had a royal stay at Liz's.

Great hotel. Lovely & worth it. Highly recommended. We're ready to go at 8:00. The weather promises rain. Light rain from Haltern and then Sythen. Thunderstorms in the bush and persistent rain all the way home.

The tour starts in Enschede. Cycling is always an experience. The weather cooperates. Many parks and pretty villages. Delicious food in Aalten. Angus Young ACDC lives in the country. After 120 km, we reach Raesfeld. A well-chilled Veltins to finish.

Another hearty hike. Willingen in the beautiful Sauerland has a skywalk. 650 meters there and back again. The legs do what they want. You slowly settle in. The jump becomes a minor matter. Nice route. Lunch to the Graf Stollberg Hut, Diemel Quelle, North Rhine-Westphalia Biathlon Center. Ideal hiking
