Very nice tour on the coast.
But then it got uncomfortable with rain and wind.
A compensation was the delicious food, especially the pulpo.

Today we set off on a 9 km long hike with a hiking guide in the best weather (I didn't stop koomot in time 🙃).
It's Sunday and Christmas Day at home.
But there are still hikes in Spain, there are just a lot of Christmas refugees 😉🤸🦜.
At first we went through an enchanting fairytale forest.

An exciting path through the Barranco de los Arenas, after about 1.5 km we were on the street with the shopping centers.
First we visited the restaurant Bodeguita Titos, I wanted to get to know it. A restaurant with a very nice inner courtyard and delicious food.
After a little shopping we decided to walk

Today is a national holiday in the Canary Islands and in Spain, not Santa Claus like we do, but the passing of the Spanish constitution from 1978 is commemorated.

We started a tour to Malpais (bad country) de Güimar. The weather report promised sun and no rain 🌝.
However, a brisk, sometimes gusty east wind was blowing.
The volcanic landscape fascinated us.
Malpaís de Güímar is a Special Natural Reserve of great ecological importance, which was placed under protection
