Today, for Father's Day, we went on a little exploratory tour in the Lauchagrund below the large Inselsberg.
But first we ended up in the museum on the Inselsberg.
Then we continued to look for suitable climbing rocks for a later climbing course.
The Aschenbergstein we had in mind wasn't very suitable.

Today, on Easter Sunday, we took a nice walk around Apolda.
This year the MDR organized the traditional Easter walk in Apolda.
4 different laps from 2.6 km to 16.6 km were offered.
We chose the 11.2km lap.
From Apolda via Oberroßla back via the scout square with a Touringen stamp and the Schötener Grund.

Today first tour in Saxon Switzerland. In Bad Schandau we went to Kirnitzschtalstrasse, always along the tram 🚋. But we drove to the Beuthenfall parking lot. There up to the entrance to the lower Häntzschelstiege.

A demanding tour from Oberpörlitz to the upper Berggrabenweg, from there to the middle and on this to Manebach in the Meyersgrund and then steeply uphill to the two meadows and then to the jewelry. A beautiful tour. Walked a little but climbed a lot. In the Ilmenau-Mahnebach quarry.
It was my first time and I thought it was great.
A 6 then went up to the "pig's tail" on the second try 🤪👍

Skiing on the Rennsteig was announced for the last time this winter. Well, it was 3 km.⛷ So the conditions for it weren't great anymore.

Thanks to a dear friend, I got the chance to test my skiing skills today. In 1989 I was last on the boards. In Oberhof we went to the cross-country ski run. After an initial fall, I mastered the rest of the route, including the Berd descents, more or less confidently. 😊 It was a really great day that
