We start the return journey at the watchtower near Camping Het Spikkerdal.
After busy Roermond, we drive again between the water. Now on the other side of the Maas, which is quieter and yet more beautiful.
From Maaseik we follow the Kolenspoor, a pleasant cycle path through the woods.

The evening before departure we camp at Camping Holsteenbron. A small, cozy campsite in the middle of the woods. We can park the car outside the campsite during our bike ride.
