Went to Strasbourg this morning in the rain and arrived in good weather. Almost all of the cycle paths are paved and well-developed. Strasbourg is definitely a must. Very nice. The onward journey to Rastatt on canals and on the banks of the Rhine was peppered with a few potholes.

Out of Basel and along the Rhine about 50 km on a gravel bike path just straight ahead. 😟 Then a town of Laufenberg, beautiful old town with castle ruins and straight ahead on the Rhine. Then turned off to France Cycle paths in bad condition if available, unfortunately the navigation failed again (heavy rain)

Tour stage 4 is unfortunately not complete and cannot be viewed here, so here is a comment. Touring from Konstanz via Schaffhausen to Eglisau. With nice weather and good bike paths and very beautiful places. The Rhine has already grown considerably as far as Schaffhausen,

Although the journey by train was difficult (3 hours late), it was worth it. You bike paths are well developed and the landscape is a dream. The last stage goes along the edge of the Black Forest to Karlsruhe at a dry 15 degrees. Now by train via Heidelberg to Essen. Unfortunately, a beautiful bike ride has come to an end. I would do the tour like this again, with the exception of Basel to Strasbourg, which is not very nice on the Rhine.
