When I was planning for today, which wasn't really a plan at all, I didn't really pay attention to the route; I was primarily concerned with the mileage. So, unfortunately, I only realized how much gravel was included while running. It's not really my thing, but I'm sure some people will enjoy it.

After driving quite a distance today to the Urach Waterfall (see today's other tour), the walk was worth it. So I wanted to check out Lichtenstein Castle. A really pretty little castle. Unfortunately, you have to pay €5 to enter the small courtyard (€14 inside), but you can only get that amazing view

I've been wanting to go here for a long time. Since it's likely to be very busy on the weekend, I took advantage of my day off today. Luckily, I didn't look at the elevation profile beforehand 🙈

Because I got up too late 🙈 I spontaneously changed my tour plan for today and what can I say... it's a good thing I overslept 😅
Nice route that combines several points like Teufelsmühle and Bernsteinfels. And yes, going up to Teufelsmühle is not nice and gives you sore muscles the next day 🥴

Today I stayed in the local area and reduced the number of kilometers and elevation. I'm still in "hibernation" but it was a nice ride.
