If your into long time trials, this ride is for you. Km 38 - 63 are just flat and straight. So head down and go. Road condition good. The start out of Lisabon is good thanks to a longer bike path. Then watch truck traffic until Vila Franca de Xira. Across the river Tajo I highly recommend to drive gently

Did this ride Oct 1st, started around noon, lots of headwind after Cascais along the coast. Exit of Sintra a big confusing ..... Lots of commercial areas ..... Watch directions.

The first few km out of Lisabon are ok ... Then you enter a somewhat boring residential/commercial area around Benfica ..... Once you approach Sintra, the scenery gets really beautiful. Depending on the weekend or holiday, Sintra might be totally crowded with domestic tourists and far to many cars. Backdrop
