The route continued along the water on well-developed cycle paths from Saarland to Luxembourg. A stop was made in Echternach, the oldest city in the country, before continuing on to Vianden on the Our.

The snowdrops in the Krebsbach Valley have unfortunately faded. The path through the upper valley is still impassable. What a pity!

Great hike through the wilderness in Eswantini! Gigantic landscape, blooming flora and some "wild" animals crossing the path. This trail is worth it.

The tour from Wurmlingen via Kirmnitzhalde and Dreifaltigkeitsberg to Waldeck is always beautiful😊Komoot failed for five kilometers, maybe it was too hot for the sat nav?

The round trip of the (5) Rivers Cycle Route is over at 430 km. We have cycled 10 rivers: Altmühl, Danube, Naab, Vils, Pregnitz, Regnitz, Main-Danube Canal, Ludwig Canal, Franconian Rezat and the Swabian Rezat. Learned a lot about Bavaria😊

At the start in the Danube Valley, the thermometer showed a chilly 4 degrees Celsius. So, up to the alpine pasture we went: After 150 meters of elevation gain, it felt like 12-13 degrees! So we were able to enjoy a great, "warm" tour without shivering 😚
