A section of the Nakahechi route required for the Wakayama stamp book. Stamp 24 is not included in the tour. For that, I took a bus from Shingu to the Kumano Boat River Cruise. If it's open, which it wasn't in December, you can take a nice boat trip back to Shingu from there. Stamps 29-31 are located

Since I didn't know that stamps outside the now-common Nakahechi route, which starts at Takijiri, were also needed for the Wakayama stamp book until I had the book in hand, I had to complete this route afterward. The corresponding map was only available in Japanese, which I obtained at the Kumano Kodo
