Today's stage was very manageable. We passed the historic Torre do Relógio and crossed the bridge over the Rio Coura at the end of Caminhas, and soon we were following the river bank along the border river Miño. We left this path in Seixas and followed the Caminho further to Lanhelas on beautiful paths

Line 1 of the historic tram in Porto took us to the starting point of our hike. First we walked along the promenade that runs between the road and the beach. Everything is densely built up until we reached the end of Matosinhos. Then it became quieter and the path led us mostly on wooden walkways to Lavra.

The best comes last! Well, the route wasn't the prettiest but the destination was. We saved the last few kilometers to Santiago de Compostela for this morning. We followed back roads, busy main roads but also beautiful sections through the forest until we reached Santiago. Soon the towers of the cathedral
