We had planned to cycle a little along the Queich today. It went quite well up to Offenbach and we had no intention of taking a break until Offenbach, otherwise the mosquitoes would have eaten us for a snack. After a long (bicycle) abstinence, today we did a few more kilometers than just to the bakery. And what can I say, we haven't forgotten how to do it.
Next time there might be pictures again, I completely forgot about that today.

Is not that crazy!?
Today is FEBRUARY 21, 2024 and the almond trees are already blooming.
The only question that remains is what lies ahead for us with the overexploitation that humanity is doing.
It's just a good thing that at least on our bike tour the pollutant emissions remain within acceptable limits

We were happy to spot the first signs of spring on today's tour, in keeping with the current temperatures.
So today we did everything right, nice weather, clattering storks and finally wonderful sun.

For the last day in January it was surprisingly warm today at 11 degrees. A reason for us to pedal hard again, especially since we have neglected our bikes in the last few months. I certainly don't have to mention that we didn't do ourselves any favors.

It's chaotic how the temperatures change within an hour, e.g. Z. and with it the landscape switches from white to green.
The prospect of sunshine attracted us straight to the bike today.

Our last tour took us a bit along the Queich until the clouds in the sky made us turn back. Today's tour followed the Queich further to Anweiler. We didn't get past the ice cream factory, though. Our brakes locked and only came free again after a delicious ice cream.
By the way, we didn't get home dry
