Started early on a cool Wednesday morning traversing through beautiful mountainous fynbos terrain. Perfect day for hiking with just the open sky,the smell of the vegetation and the sound of birds and your hiking boots striking the surface... Beautiful rol
The route took us away from the busy gravel road to a beautiful back small foot path with some lovely fynbos proteas and just the stillness of nature

Long windy strenuous day with a head wind on the last section of the hike. Beautiful nature

Hiked from Malgas to Ouplaas as part of the Light house route walking from Mossel bay to Cape Aghullas for 17 days. Staying over at farmers in small cottages on their farm or in Guest house along the way. Dinners, breakfast and a lunch pack is all include

Long hike for the day but was met with a surprise when we were supprised by Jurie and his beautiful black horses and a cart that took us to his farm enroute to have some coffee and some lovely milk tart. What a lovely suprise
