A "short" walk to take advantage of the nice weather. Surprisingly, there weren't many people around—presumably everyone was out at one Easter party or another. But it provided good opportunities for some nice photos, which I also tried to take advantage of.

In perfect weather, I took a detour up the local mountain and its tower. On a non-ebike. It was also one of my more crazy ideas – but at least I can now give my poor touring bike the "off-road" label.
From Hoch-Weisel, it's a steady climb, always following the turnoff to the Celtic Route. Almost 300 meters

The (probably) last tour this year: On the R6 from Nieder-Gemünden to Butzbach. It was actually supposed to start in Nieder-Ohmen, but since the train didn't want to stop there, we ended up in Gemünden. First small mistake: The short connecting stretch between Gemünden and Nieder-Ohmen already has two

The May Day tour I made last year. After making the mistake of riding along the Lahn River in Giessen on May Day and having to dodge a few beer showers, this year I waited until the boozy crowds had passed (and, admittedly, the weather had cooled down a bit).
