After the bus ride from Brno with a wonderful day of rest in Vienna, we arrived in Mannheim today. From there we headed back to the Odenwald on familiar routes.
After two weeks with many unforgettable impressions in Poland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Austria, this year's tour comes to an end.

We extended the short distance to Brno a little with a worthwhile detour through the landscape conservation area to the north-west of the city. We used today's relatively short stage to take the cable car to the mountain station of the local ski resort. From there we climbed the Vel'ky Krivan (1,709 meters above sea level). I've added a few pictures.

At the beginning we got caught up in a cycling event. We did quite well up to the first hill and hopefully didn't frustrate anyone. After the second hill we turned into the Kvacianska dolina gorge. As it narrows considerably, we had to climb up the rocky ridge again. This offers several vantage points

Today we enjoyed cycling. We simply followed the Dunajec cycle path and didn't have to worry about the route. The condition of the path, signage and infrastructure along the cycle path are exemplary. The scenery was also a pleasure.
