Today we went up to Lausche, the highest mountain in the Zittau Mountains, in rather moderate weather. Right from the start the path climbed steadily. Kassel-Steig - originally laid out as a circular hiking trail with a length of around 160 km.
After walking this route in 2018-2019, this time I'm going on an E-MTB tour.
The first section from Herkules to Weimar/Ahnatal. The route is very well marked and is recommended both on foot and by bike.

A normal Tuesday:
We drove to Zittau. Parked just before the border, took the bikes off the roof and off we went for a ride.
We crossed the border on the Polish side to the nearest border crossing to the Czech Republic. The goal was the Jeschken with its 1052m. The tour was always steep uphill followed
