I was running a bit late, so the hike was rather short. The sun had already disappeared behind the clouds 😕
Nevertheless, it's always beautiful here. You can extend the hike all the way to the Ennepe Dam and beyond. And it's entirely along lovely forest trails 😊

On our way, we stumbled upon the old, abandoned cable car station.
The subsequent descent is very beautiful but also steep and rocky. Good shoes are recommended. 😉

The Witches' Trail is initially narrow, rooty, rocky, and somewhat steep, but simply beautiful.
Then it descends to the Deilbach stream. A short stretch along the stream, over a small bridge, and then onto the hills near Gennebreck/Herzkamp. From up there, you have a beautiful view toward Dönberg.

Very close to the Bulbjerg bird cliff...
On the way to the Enchanted Forest, you have some beautiful views of the sea. The climb to a gate is quite steep and a bit difficult to find.

I didn't want to go directly through the valley, since everyone else does, so I started by climbing uphill to the now overgrown landfill. The view from the top was good, but a bit eerie. After that, the trail continues along lovely paths through the forest.
