The circular route is classified as "difficult" because of the "alpine" (...ridiculous...) descent at the restricted area fence. You shouldn't let this put you off, as you are walking on wonderful forest floor. The only exclusion criteria due to the occasional roots and the slope would be strollers.

On the way south, we stopped off at the "Hotel Alte Post" and took a quick stroll through the vineyards to get some fresh air and move around.
Perfect for that.
