A short but enjoyable bike ride to the Botanical Garden in Halle (Saale). It turned out to be a very long, relaxing, and interesting walk through this garden. Simply beautiful, it's worth cycling there and enjoying the garden.

Hiked from Rennsteig train station near Frauenwald in the direction of the "Auerhahn" rest area via Stützerbach. Very nice tour on shady paths, mainly downhill, with great views over the Thuringian Forest. But be careful: If you want to take the Rennsteig shuttle back to Rennsteig train station from
