dream hike! The Bergwaal with rushing water everywhere is a pleasure.
And the junction to the chapel / ruins is quite demanding - narrow, steep paths and deep views of the valley: courage and surefootedness are required.
This is how 11km is fun!

Beautiful hike in and around the forest, often very idyllic. Steep climbs in various serpentines, beautiful narrow irrigation channels, some leisurely forest paths - all deserted at the end of August. Clearly a highlight!
Tip 1: take enough water with you to drink, the usual fountains / springs / pools

This tour is always great! If you are in good physical condition, there are many beautiful forest paths just above Mals, self-service and to meadows - and above all lots of beautiful views of the valley or the surrounding mountains

Great sporty hike on forest floor and with lots of Christmas tree air - just wonderful!
Half of the circular route is partly a nature course - wonderful!
And if you can't go downhill, you can take the lift down.
