The beautiful autumn day was well used with the hike to the Eisenerzer Reichenstein. Although this is said to be the most climbed mountain in Styria, I was up there for the first time today. The path is steep in parts, but easy to walk on except for a few short stretches.

In the morning when I started it was cloudy and you could feel some raindrops. After a short stretch next to the Enns, a steep path led through the forest, next to a small mountain stream up to the mountain pine belt. In bright sunshine I rode north from Vänersborg on bike paths and side roads west of Lake Vänern. I only saw Lake Vänern briefly at Sikhall and at the turning point at the remains of Daliborg Castle.

Vänern is a lake 140 km long, at the southern end of which lies Vänersborg, where my trip began and ended. The Skräkleparken is located on the shore and offers some nice bathing spots, the only thing missing was the sun 🌞.

Onsalalandet can be circumnavigated on cycle paths and side roads. A few small detours towards the sea make the trip more interesting.

Despite the cloudy weather and a few droplets from the sky, it was a nice lap. There was also a bit of the Kattegatleden. That brings back good memories. My way led me from Malmö, along the beach to the Öresund Bridge. On the way back I passed through Kungsparken, circled the western harbor and saw the Turning Torso. This is the rotated skyscraper.
Although I'm usually fascinated by mountains, I have to say: "The lowlands also have advantages. 😀"
