Great hike, everything worked out, and now we're back to Hainichen and on to Hamburg tomorrow. 5 wonderful days of hiking with my brother.

First a wide, fairly flat forest path along Großbach to the Zwiesel ascent.
Very nice, moderately steep climb up in the shade - upper section then sunny.
Short stop at the Speckeralm with friendly hosts for cake and a refreshing drink. Then a climb up to the Zwiesel …

Parking at the Wackersberg hiking car park with the EasyPark app costs €2.30 for 5 hours. Shortly before the Blomberg we pass the Wackersbergalm, which offers a much quieter place to stop for a break than the Blomberghaus. However, they only serve cold dishes and cakes.

Given the current weather conditions (snow, ice), the descent is technically challenging. Crampons and poles are highly recommended.

At the end of our spontaneous weekend in Munich, we went on a short mountain hike today. Even though Bad Tölz's popular local mountain was well attended, it was a worthwhile hike with great views and a stop to our liking 😉. You cant complain! 😊

Nice hike despite steep and bumpy stretches. The hike should only be done with hands-on dogs, as you will encounter free-range grazing animals on the way. In general, the tour is not very well attended, apart from the summit station, which can also be reached by train.
