The hike through this small canyon gives a nice insight into the nature of Rhodes. The southern side was partially burned by the large forest fire that burned through the island in the summer. The hike is one of the most beautiful tours in Rhódos. Since it is partly pathless through a boulder river bed, only experienced and appropriately equipped hikers should undertake the tour. Small climbing parts are to be taken into account! The reward for the effort: a breathtaking river valley, the wild Skoutouljaris gorge and the abandoned, idyllic Kamíri monastery.

Super nice hike through oleander bushes and rocks. With small climbing sections. Descent on unmarked paths through an olive tree up to the monastery. Then the rest of the way down to the car on an almost empty road.
