The Fountain of Fame is one of the two most emblematic and oldest in A Coruña. The work of the Compostela sculptor Antón Pernas, it inherits the Napoleonic splendor of the 18th century. Thus, it was made from plans dated September 19, 1791 and signed by Fernando Domínguez Romay.

The church dedicated to Santigo, in La Coruña, is located in the Old City just 150 meters southeast of the Plaza de María Pita. It measures around 36 x 18 meters and is canonically oriented, with a slight deviation to the south. Chronologically it dates back to the second half of the 12th century and is the oldest in the city. Originally, the temple had a triple nave, but today, after fires and renovations, the best preserved part is its head. Inside, the three naves have disappeared, giving way to a hall floor to which the apses open.
